PINIMAGE“Never judge the experience by the price” thats what I kept saying over the last few days.  Yes, Zack came to the UK and all his terms and experiences got stuck in my head:

“inverse square law” “Million dollar studio””tile board””One light””Newcastle Brown””ish”——-“isnt it amazing”?

From OneLight DVD to Creative Live, I never missed any step-thanks you Zack for sharing your knowledge. We had a lot fun from 7:00 PM ( Fri) to 2:00 AM (Sun), with NewCastle Brown, Pizza and “One light”! We talked about lighting, studio, business, music and beer!

Here is the power of just one light!

“The Ruby Wedding Anniversary is to celebrate spending 40 years together”

Rachel and her partner James are living in London, while her parents and brother are based in the Lake District. In order to celebrate Rachel’s parents’ ruby wedding anniversary, all the family members were joined together in De Vere-Oulton Hall Hotel for a relax weekend. How beautiful it was for her daughter to give her parents a memorable day of photo shot and a hotel stay on such a special occasion.

PINIMAGEThe Ring Flash was original used in dental photography, providing even illumination with few shadows visible. It is still being used so and it wins its good reputation in fashion photography nowadays, because of its “nowhere” and “everywhere” effect. I, however, primarily use as a fill light as Mr Hobby has emphasised many times in his workshop. As a location photographer, a hotshoe flash (maybe more) is necessary, I believe Orbis is just perfect to do the “Ring” job in this occasion. I never  hesitate to have purchased the Orbis early this year, and never regret I have done so. Well, you can not expect your hotshoe flash to overpower the solar at 2:00pm after 3 stops reduced—–but if you are talking about fashion commercial work which has to be done under the harsh sun light, I believe you are paid well for the job which can easily cover the cost of using the Profoto.

The Orbis inventor James came to Leeds today, as a local photographer we are honer to have him in the house and arrange some demo as well as a welcome to his lastest product: “Prio Cold Shoe”, it is such simple design hi quality plastic with little cost but prevent  your £350 flashgun from slipping off the bracket. This should be in the market by now and I strongly recommend everyone use off camera flash should own it just “in case”–which happens all the time.

Today, I shoot few pics with Orbis as key light. (Model: Victoria)

The “Greenwich” master room where Ali stayed was amazing. If you are looking for a venue in that area, for anything from 50 to up to 130 guests on your day, I strongly recommend this venue and these photos tell you everything.
